What is the Broadcast Feature in NemoVote and how it can support an election

With NemoVote’s broadcast function, administrators can send instant messages to all voters currently logged into the platform. This is a quick way to communicate important updates or reminders directly to voters while they are active in the system.

Broadcast to All Voters

How to Use the Broadcast Tool:
Use this feature to send short messages, urgent updates, or hyperlinks (e.g., links to Google documents) directly to voters, ensuring they receive the information while logged in.

Step-by-Step Guide to Broadcasting a Message

  1. Log into NemoVote as an Administrator and click on "Broadcast to all voters" located on the top menu bar.
  2. A small message window will open where you can type your announcement or instruction.
  3. Send the Message: Once sent, a pop-up containing your message will appear for all currently logged-in voters. They can read and close the pop-up at their convenience.

Note: Broadcast messages are temporary; they are not stored in NemoVote and cannot be reopened by voters after they close the pop-up.

Benefits of Using Broadcast Messages

The broadcast feature in NemoVote allows you to:

  • Instantly communicate with voters who are logged in, ensuring no delays in critical updates.
  • Directly share links or resources that voters may need during the voting process, such as access to documents or instructional material.
  • Enhance voter transparency and participation by keeping voters informed throughout the election.

Broadcasting messages to voters can help keep everyone on the same page and facilitate a smoother voting experience.
