Overview of My Votes

As a voter, you have an overview of your currently open and closed votes. You can only see votes assigned to voter lists of which you are a member. In the video above, no open or closed votes are shown initially.

If several votes are open, you will see them listed under “Open votes.” You can proceed to cast your ballot by clicking the vote button.

If expert mode is enabled, you will see additional details under the “Open votes” tab:

  • Name of the vote
  • Date and time the vote opened (“opened”)
  • Date and time the vote closes, or indication if it closes manually (“vote closes…”)
  • Whether you have voted (“voted”)
  • Under actions:
    • “Vote” with ballot icon if you haven’t voted yet
    • “Results” with chart icon if results are enabled and your ballot has been received.
    • Ballot icon to view your submitted ballot if you have voted

Under the “Closed Votes” tab, you see past votes with:

  • Vote name
  • Actions like results (if enabled) and ballot viewing
  • If expert mode is on: timestamps for open and close times and if your ballot was received.

Voted Status

The “Voted” column shows how many votes you have submitted for each vote. A green check indicates you have cast all your assigned votes. Since you might have more than one voting right via multiple voter lists e.g. for proxy voting, you can vote with your remaining votes using the voting button.

Vote Closes …

If there is an automatic closing time, you will see when the vote will close automatically.

Access Results

You can access the results by clicking the results button next to a vote.

The results button may be available during, after, or not at all depending on the settings by the administrator.

New Vote Opened Notification

When a new vote opens, all voters in the respective voter lists receive a message at the bottom of the screen (“snackbar”) notifying them. Clicking the notification takes you immediately to the vote.

This notification disappears automatically after some time. Then the wheel top right corner still signs a new vote to cast

Submitting a Vote

  1. Choose Vote: Clicking the vote button in the overview or new vote prompt takes you to the voting page.

  2. Select Ballot: If you have multiple voting rights via multiple voter lists, you select which voter list to vote with, then choose your voting option.

Vote Success – Quality Assurance

NemoVote ensures every vote is final and can only be submitted once. After the vote reaches the server, a confirmation is sent to the voter. You will immediately see visual confirmation if your vote was recorded successfully.

If technical issues occur, you will receive an error and can submit your vote again.
