This year's Web Summit took place from November 1 - 4, 2022. In Lisbon, 71,000 visitors from 160 countries, 2,300 startups, 1,050 speakers and 2,000 journalists met. At Web Summit 2022, startups were able to present their business ideas in front of an international audience and continue to learn and exchange information about current tech topics. NemoVote was represented for the first time this year. At a booth, visitors of the fair could have the live voting software NemoVote demonstrated by the co-founders Florian Tischler and Jannis Beger, try out the software themselves and cast their own votes. In addition to the presentation of their own product at the booth, the NemoVote team focused on the exchange with potential customers, interested parties and investors.
Furthermore, a technological exchange on various IT topics and contacts with potential developers and service providers were also important. Controversial topics also came up at the Web Summit: Ukraine war, Web 3.0, artificial intelligence and much more. All in all, the Web Summit 2022 was an inspiring experience: We bring back home to Germany many new contacts to interesting people, new technical incentives as well as feedback from potential customers, other startup founders and also representatives of the startup programs of the German government and the state of Baden-Württemberg.
